Methods is a B2B go-to-market consultancy founded by Rich Quelch and Phill Postill, and part of the John Good Group, a 193-year-old, 6th-generation family business. We help B2B businesses and family-owned firms turn unclear propositions into commercial growth. Our team brings over 40 years of combined commercial experience in strategy, brand architecture and inbound lead generation, with a particular passion for growing family businesses, an area we have worked in for over 15 years. The way we operate is shaped by the values and ethos of the John Good Group, and that runs through everything we do at Methods.
What We Do
Methods is one of the few B2B consultancies that ties proposition development directly to go-to-market execution. We work with real-time marketplace data and buying behaviour, not assumptions, to shape strategies that generate qualified inbound opportunities and measurable revenue. We deliberately limit our client base to four businesses at any one time, which means every client gets proper attention, dedicated thinking and a genuine return on their investment.
That cap on client numbers also feeds our commitment to giving back. For every four clients we onboard, we support or invest in a charity or charitable initiative. We call it the 4=1 rule, and it is built into the way Methods operates, not bolted on as an afterthought.
