International Family Business Day (#InternationalFamilyBizDay) was created by Family Business United to give recognition to family firms across the world for the contribution they make in terms of jobs provided, income generated and wealth created, as well as the significant support they offer to the communities in which they operate. Taking place annually on the fourth Wednesday in January, the event brings the community together with various events (online and in person) plus a significant voice on social media throughout the day.

Each year the family business voice is amplified by the involvement of family firms and their advisers all over the world and makes a significant contribution to raising awareness of the important contribution family firms make on a daily basis.
