Lake District Spa Wins Top Wedding Venue Accolade

A Lake District spa resort has been acclaimed as one of the most professional and popular wedding venues in the UK.

Low Wood Bay Resort & Spa on the shores of Windermere has been named amongst the winners of the annual Hitched Wedding Awards 2024. It makes the hotel and its wedding co-ordination team one of the most recommended professional outfits by newlyweds on leading wedding planning platform Hitched.co.uk.

More than 23,000 wedding businesses registered on the site have all been in the running to win one of these acclaimed industry titles, with Low Wood Bay picking up its award in the wedding venues category. The awards are based on reviews left by married couples in the last 12 months.

Low Wood Bay received a total of 50 reviews in all with a top rating of 5 out of 5 determined by the couples who planned their weddings with the team at the spa resort.
