Hendy Group Appoints Natasha Mead As Head Of People

Hendy Group has appointed Natasha Mead as its new head of people as the company continues to be a market leader in the automotive world.

Natasha joins Hendy Group’s senior leadership team from DIY giant B&Q where she worked in its people team for 12 years and said she was delighted to be joining Hendy at such an important time in its history.

“Hendy Group has a great ethos and attitude to people development and I’m really looking forward to my role which will be to support and develop the talent already here to empower our line managers to thrive in the business as it continues to grow,” said Natasha.

“It’s great being part of a company which is committed to providing long term careers for people and the number of long serving colleagues is testament to the importance the company places on colleague development.”

Sarah Martyn, director – people and organisational development, said Natasha will lead the people operations team working closely with senior leaders to develop future talent within the company.

“Her wealth of experience working in a large customer-facing company means Natasha is well-placed to be an integral part of the senior leadership team and she has quickly become an important part of the business,” said Sarah.

Natasha takes over the role as head of people from Clare Hendy who is now project lead for the group’s HR Information System.

Married with three young daughters, Natasha says that outside work she enjoys fitness activities with her family and travelling.
