FBU Launches New Carbon Emissions Calculator
In Collaboration with AXIOM Sustainability Family Business United is delighted to launch a free carbon emissions calculator for the family business community with the aim to help family businesses continue to lead the way in sustainability.
Joe Oughtred, co-founder of AXIOM and sixth-generation member of the William Jackson Food Group, explains: "Being part of a 6th generation family business, I’ve seen first-hand how family business values align with sustainability. Supporting family businesses in their sustainability efforts is so important to me. That’s why we collaborated with FBU to create this free tool. We are here to assist businesses of all sizes in making informed decisions about sustainability and ESG, whether it's reducing emissions, achieving Net Zero, or fostering a more equitable workplace."

Using the calculator will take a matter of minutes, but before you get started, you'll need the following.
Annual Utility Usage including Electricity and Gas in kWh, and Water in m³
Annual Waste Information including General Waste and Recycling in tonnes.
Annual Business Travel including Road, Rail and Air in miles.
By the end, you'll have a clear picture of your carbon footprint and receive personalised tips on how to reduce it.
