Andrew is the Managing Director of BCB International. He first started working in the business with his father when it was a small company that produced medicines. He designed a first aid kit which enable him to transform the small medical company into an internationally known survival manufacturer and a business that is well known and respected as a life saving company within defence forces around the world.
Back in 2013, Andrew saw a need for a safer fuel and developed FireDragon, an eco-friendly, clean, green fuel. FireDragon is now the main fuel source of the British MoD and has recently been introduced to the general public.
Andrew encourages forward thinking and guides the BCB team well, taking them and the business from strength to strength, creating new products and improving old.
In 2020, with the onset of Coronavirus, Andrew changed the FireDragon fuel production process to manufacture hand sanitiser. He created more jobs in a difficult time and kept the NHS supplied with PPE when there was none readily available.
Andrew and his wife Janey run the business with their three daughters. He is a well deserving recipient of his place in the Family Business Top 100.
