About Our Host - Nick Mayhew
Nick is the Founder and Managing Director of Alembic. A sought after speaker, and leading facilitator and executive coach. Nick helps fix and improve broken relationships in family and founder led businesses.
After a 20 year career as a senior equity partner and board member at a major accounting practice, Nick founded Alembic and for the last 9 years has helped hundreds of leaders and businesses transform and grow.
He learned the power of bodywork for changing mindset and perspective at a very early age, brought up in a Tibetan Buddhist Centre, where he would go from the rugby pitch at a Welsh school home to Tai Chi and meditation practice. This provides the backdrop to a leadership development approach that draws deeply on his practical and academic knowledge of the body-brain change dynamic, most powerfully present in their conflict resolution facilitation "Burying the Dead Cats™" and coaching for a Flexible Mindset.
Nick has an Msc in Neuroscience and Psychology of Mental Health and is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants.
