Responsibilities in your new role as Production Butcher
As our Production Butcher, you’ll play a key role at the heart of operations, expertly preparing and processing a wide range of meat products to the highest standards. You’ll help ensure production runs smoothly and efficiently while maintaining exceptional levels of quality, hygiene, and food safety throughout.
Key responsibilities include:
Maintaining high standards of quality, hygiene, and food safety across all production activities
Keeping work areas clean, organised, and fully compliant with food safety regulations
Supporting stock control, inventory management, and stock rotation procedures
Operating butchery tools and equipment safely and effectively
Following all health and safety procedures to maintain a safe working environment
Working collaboratively with the wider team to achieve production targets efficiently
Your personality, experience and qualifications
We're looking for someone with experience in food production or culinary environments, ideally with strong butchery skills. You'll also bring:
Strong knowledge of meat preparation and food hygiene practices
Experience using specialist butchery tools and equipment
Hospitality or kitchen experience is beneficial but not essential
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team
Good understanding of health and safety procedures
Proficiency in English
