Claudia is an advisor and head of governance at Generation6. Claudia is a family business educator, researcher, and advisor, and the head of the Family and Business Program at Lucerne School of Business in Switzerland, a program that provides peer-oriented learning opportunities for family-owned companies. In addition to her role at Lucerne School of Business, she is a visiting scholar at Witten/Herdecke University in Germany, her alma mater, and an affiliated researcher at Jönköping University (CeFEO) in Sweden.

After relocating to the United States in 2013, she joined Andrew Keyt as the Head of the Governance Practice at Keyt Consulting in 2019 – a role she continues to hold at Generation6. In this capacity, Claudia has worked extensively with the boards and family councils of some of the largest private family companies and steward groups in the United States.

Claudia’s approach is shaped by her understanding of the role of family cohesion, effective communication, conflict management, and governance aligned with the values, culture, and objectives of the owning family. Her practice-oriented research has received multiple awards from both academic and business organizations.

Claudia is National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD) certified and serves as the Chair of the Board of the International Family Enterprise Research Academy (IFERA). She is the former Family Business Chair at the European Academy of Management (EURAM).
