The UK Family Business Lifetime Achievement Awards are a true celebration of the remarkable individuals that are the very essence of family businesses across the UK. Recognising the contribution of individuals who have dedicated a lifetime of service to a family firm, as leaders and senior employees, or even dedicated members of staff, family and non-family, these prestigious awards are the only awards that shine a national spotlight on incredible individuals from the world of family business. The awards culminate each year in a national family business dinner where the winners are presented with their award.

Organised by Family Business, THE family business champions, these awards were introduced in 2016 and have become a key fixture in the family business calendar with some amazing individuals having been recognised for their contribution over the years and taking home a Lifetime Achievement Award which recognises their contribution on a national stage.
Entries are encouraged from all corners of the UK where individuals are nominated because of the impact they have had over a long period of time, including founders who had an idea and the entrepreneurial drive and determination to build a business, long serving employees/directors that embody the very essence of what working for a family business is all about, directors who began as apprentices and worked their way to the board room and the unsung heroes that have been an integral part of the family business and its journey that have never sought to be in the spotlight.
Recipients of these Lifetime Achievement Awards have come from all corners of the UK, family businesses young and old but they all have one thing in common - their impact, passion and commitment to make a difference that has been recognised by others.
Our finalists are all celebrated at a gala dinner where they are presented with an award, the finalists having been determined by our esteemed judging panel. On the evening, an overall Supreme Champion Lifetime Award Winner is also announced.
