Spirit Of Gallo Enters The Mezcal Category With Derrumbes

Spirit of Gallo continues to grow its luxury spirits portfolio through a strategic partnership with Mezcal Derrumbes, becoming the brand’s exclusive importer in the United States. The announcement comes as the mezcal category has seen significant growth, reaching 803K cases in the U.S. last year*, and ISWR data projecting the category to grow 10% by 2027.
Grown in the most biodiverse appellation in the world, Derrumbes represents a mezcal journey through the heart of Mexico. Each of the seven expressions in the portfolio highlight the unique terroir, flavours and styles of a different Mexican state where it was crafted.

Mezcal’s rise in popularity has also been fuelled by growing consumer interest in artisanal spirits and Mexican culture combined with an increased presence on cocktail menus.
