Award-winning family-run business, New Forest Ice Cream, has once again been recognised for its unwavering commitment to quality, receiving the prestigious AA+ grade BRCGS accreditation, the highest possible rating for food safety and quality assurance.
This latest award marks over 10 consecutive years of BRCGS accreditation, further cementing the company’s reputation for excellence. The globally recognised BRCGS certification provides customers and trade partners with complete confidence in the safety, consistency, and premium quality of every product produced.
From beginnings in 1983, when founders Lawrie and Sue Jenman began making ice cream in their home kitchen, to now operating from a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility, New Forest Ice Cream has proudly remained family owned. Today, the business is led by the next generation - twin sisters Niki and Christina, who continue their parents’ tradition with passion and innovation.
This milestone follows the company’s recent success at the Great Taste Awards, where their Raspberry Lemonade Sorbet took home another star, adding to an impressive total of over 20 Great Taste Awards. Earlier this year, the business was also named Food Producer of the Year 2025 at the Advertiser and Times Food and Drink Awards.
“The team here at New Forest Ice Cream are like an extended family,” says Niki Jenman.
“From a small family kitchen to over 42 years on (and counting), we’re proud to still be building on what our parents started, making ice creams and sorbets that people love and trust.”
With exceptional flavour in the heart of every scoop. New Forest Ice Cream continues to manufacture award-winning ice cream and sorbet which is enjoyed across the UK.
