Hendy Group Opens First OMODA & JAECOO Dealership In Portsmouth

Drivers in and around Portsmouth will soon be able to explore, test drive and purchase the latest models from the fast-growing OMODA & JAECOO brands when Hendy opens the doors to a new dual-branded showroom this September.

The first ‘OMODA & JAECOO’ dealership in the city will be part of the existing Hendy Car & Van Store and Authorised Honda Repairs centre on Painter Close, which will continue operation.

Hendy has reconfigured the site to accommodate the carmaker’s full UK range of electric, hybrid and combustion-engine vehicles, including the petrol OMODA 5, electric OMODA E5, super-hybrid OMODA 9 and premium JAECOO 7 available with a choice of powertrains.

A comprehensive aftersales offering will be available at the site, where customers will be able to access repairs, services, maintenance and MOTs for all makes and models. To maximise convenience for visitors, the site will also feature an increased customer parking area, coupled with electric vehicle charging points.

To mark the opening of Hendy’s first OMODA & JAECOO showroom, locals will be invited to attend a launch event, where they will get to learn more about each available model and book in test drives.

The opening has prompted the creation of new job roles in the sales team, and Hendy is currently seeking colleagues for additional roles at the site. Further information and details of how to apply are available on the career page of Hendy’s website.
