GAP Hire Solutions is expanding its fleet with two advanced welfare units from Groundhog, reinforcing its ongoing commitment to sustainability, efficiency, and high-quality on-site facilities.
The new units include:
Single axle GP360 Fusion Pulse (3.6m)
Twin axle GPO660 Fusion Pulse (6.6m) with twin toilet facilities
These units are packed with smart, sustainable features. A roof-mounted solar panel system and the innovative Fusion Pulse balanced power system actively monitor battery levels, ensuring the on-board generator is only used when needed. This can cut generator use by up to 90%, reducing noise, fuel consumption, and servicing costs.
Additional features include:
Double inverter sockets with built-in USB-C charging
12V socket for cool boxes or fridges
On-board telematics to track usage and report on CO₂e emissions
Enhanced interior design customised for GAP, including company colours and stainless- steel worktops
Generator use limited to kettle, microwave, and on-board water heating
Together, these features make sites quieter, cleaner, and more efficient, reducing emissions, fuel use, and running costs while improving site conditions.
GAP Hire Solutions will be launching these new Fusion Pulse units at Plantworx 2025. Visitors are invited to see them in action at stands G-01 and G-03.
David Munro, Head of Asset Management and Supply Chain at GAP Hire Solutions commented:
