Company Description

Leading family business consultants working with family firm executives and family businesses around the world to provide tailored solutions to help them achieve their strategic goals.

I am first and foremost a family business consultant and adviser who works with family members and family business executives to improve relationships, develop leadership capabilities and assist in managing the family business dynamics between the generations.

I have consulted and coached board-level businessmen and women, and a wide variety of family businesses in the private and public sectors in the UK, Europe, North America, the Middle East and Asia.

Prior to founding Familias & Company, I established the Whitehead Mann Centre for Family Business Excellence assisting families in the UK and abroad to address family business issues.

Areas that I regularly deal with include:

  • conflict resolution
  • the design of family agreements
  • succession planning
  • board effectiveness
  • team development
  • governance structures for the family firm
  • next generation development.

I continue to play an active role in the family business sector, Chairing the UK Institute for Family Business Advisory Council, working on programmes with the Financial Times, regularly speaking at conferences around the world and delivering programmes at the London Business School and INSEAD.
