Mark and Maria Whitehead MBE set up the Hawkshead Relish Company over 20 years ago. Having had plenty of peaks and troughs along the way the business is now better placed than ever before. An artisan producer of award-winning preserves based in the historic village of Hawkshead in the heart of the English Lake District, this is a family business looking to the future.

As a non-family member, Jonathan is bridging the gap between generations of the family as part of a broader succession process and is guiding the next generation to learn and gain sufficient experience to hand over the reigns to them when the time comes for him to step down.

Jonathan has gained the respect and loyalty of the whole workforce, enabling them to be the best they can whilst offering his full support, guidance and leadership.
