Perrywood Spreads Christmas Cheer

20th December 2019 Paul Andrews

Perrywood Garden Centre in Tiptree visited charity Kids Inspire on Friday 20 December to gift a seasonal planted basket as a small thank you to each of their 23 volunteers and ambassadors.

These individuals kindly give up their time to support this important charity.

Kids Inspire is a charity that helps disadvantaged young people turn their lives around and gives them back their future, they support disadvantaged young people across Essex.

With a passion to giving back to the community, for the last four years Perrywood have organised a Christmas Cheer campaign to spread a little seasonal joy in the community. The campaign began with customers nominating members of the community who they felt deserved some Christmas cheer. Last year the campaign focused on members of the Colchester Hospital team nominated by patients.

Louise Smith, Communications Manager at Perrywood comments: “Following the success of our Christmas Cheer campaigns so far, we were certain that this was something we wanted to replicate again this Christmas. We love the idea of making those that give so much to the community feel appreciated by giving them a small gift.”
