Harrison Spinks Triumph

12th April 2018 Paul Andrews

Family owned Harrison Spinks have won the Green/Sustainable Manufacturer award at The Insider Made in Yorkshire awards 2018.

The prestigious event celebrates world-class companies based in Yorkshire and the Humber and the products they are making here and selling across the world.

The award is also part of the wider Made in the UK series, to be held in June, with winners from each regional category going on to compete against those from other regions across Britain.

Harrison Spinks are committed to sustainable manufacturing and innovation in the construction of all of our products, from the hemp, flax and wool that come from their own 300 acre farm in North Yorkshire, to the patented pocket spring technology that provides the comfort and support in our mattresses.

The awards took place at the Royal Armouries in Leeds, with companies from all sectors coming together to celebrate the progress they have made over the past year. Pictured are Ronnie, Peter, Lee, Darren and Charlie collecting the award on the night, awarded by Thomas Martin, chairman of ARCO Ltd.
