As Paul Andrews, Founder of Family Business United and organiser of the Family Business of the Year Awards explains, "We have some fantastic family firms in the running for the titles this year and the judges are going to have some tough discussions when determining the winners.  We are delighted with the mix of entries, small and large, young and old and with a broad cross-section across the sectors that clearly demonstrates the diversity of the family business sector in the UK today."

"Family firms deserve their moment in the spotlight and we are delighted that these awards shine a light on the significant contribution that these businesses make on a daily basis - jobs, incomes, wealth creation and community support to name a few.  We are looking forward to crowning the winners in London in June."
