Bringing the family business community together

Family Business Inspirations

10th December 2019 Paul Andrews

Family Business United ('FBU') is delighted to launch a new campaign that will showcase a group of family business leaders that represent the real essence of the family business sector in the UK today.

FBU is an award winning champion of the family business sector and this new campaign is set to showcase 50 family business representatives who are seen as inspirational to others.  Nominations for the publication are now open and we are hoping for a group of people that show the true depth and diversity of the sector across the country.

As Paul Andrews, founder of FBU explains, "We meet lots of family business leaders, former leaders and next generation members across the country who we think are inspirational in the work that they do, the values they uphold and the presence they create to enable their family firms, management teams and employees to flourish.  We wanted to create a publication that celebrates the contribution of these individuals and showcases them for the roles that they play."

Nominations are sought using the form below (in the assets), or requesting one from, and should be submitted before the end of January 2020.  A panel will review the submissions and determine a final 50 before producing the inaugural edition of the Family Business Inspirations.  All of those featured will receive a copy of the finished publication and materials to help promote their involvement and there will be more details with regards the launch of the report announced in due course.

As Paul concludes, "As the year draws to a close, now is a good time to reflect and if there is someone in a family firm that is, has been, or continues to be an inspiration, nominate them and lets celebrate their endeavours too.  We are really excited about this latest project and look forward to receiving some great nominations too."
