Family Business Amongst Best UK Apprentice Providers

26th October 2015 Paul Andrews

Family firm NG Bailey has been named as one of the UK’s top 50 apprenticeship providers in a report produced by The Sunday Telegraph.

The Top Apprenticeship Careers List highlights 50 employers who have been judged to provide among the most innovative and noteworthy apprenticeship schemes in the UK.

The entries submitted by companies across a wide range of sectors were assessed by an independent judging panel before the final 50 were selected.

The judges included Shadow Business Secretary Angela Eagle MP; Colin Campbell-Austin, head of talent at the Telegraph Media Group; entrepreneur Andi Keeling, and Marta de Sousa, founding chief executive of Built by Her.

More than 5,500 young people have started their careers through an apprenticeship with NG Bailey and we invest around £3m in the training and development of our people.

For every 15 people at NG Bailey, one is an apprentice, and we receive up to 4,500 applications a year from school and college leavers for our range of apprenticeship programmes.
