31st October 2017 Paul Andrews
O’Donovan Waste Disposal Managing Director Jacqueline will join a prestigious line-up of international speakers at the World Demolition Summit this week.
Chaired by Howard Button CEO, National Federation of Demolition Contractors, the conference will address some of the most challenging demolition projects carried out around the world in recent months.
“Demolition has always been at the heart of what we do as a company,” explains Jacqueline whose presentation will cover ‘Bringing demolition, waste and logistics closer together’.
“As a waste management company, we play a vital role in the process and are incredibly proud of the fact we divert 100% of construction waste from landfill. I am delighted to have been invited to speak at the World Demolition Summit and share our experience with an international audience.”
Jacqueline has just embarked on a two year Demolition Master’s degree at Wolverhampton University, the first of its kind in the UK. “The Demolition sector works on more than £8 billion of projects every year in the UK alone,” she says. “It is great to see it being recognised with this new professional qualification.”
The Summit takes place on Thursday 2nd November and combines a one-day conference with an evening awards dinner and is organised with the support of the European Demolition Association and the National Demolition Association of the U.S.
