'S' Marks the Can!

Traditional cider makers Sheppy's launch contemporary cans

Can they do it? Yes they can! Sheppy's is one of the oldest and most distinguished cider making families in the world - with a rich history that spans six generations and 200 years. Headed by Master of Cider David Sheppy, the traditional cider makers have launched a brand new format - 330ml cans. Available in two premium varieties; Classic Cider and new Cloudy Cider.

Sheppy's new look cans are a nod to the cider makers’ 200 year history. Named after the actual vats they have been using for years to help mature their cider; VAT 14 and VAT 07. This is the next step for the craft cider makers and helps promote responsible drinking, with a single serve size. The launch also coincides with a new look for Sheppy's - to cement their premium positioning and reinforce the authenticity of the brand.

Real cider, real knowledge - and real heritage. Today, David Sheppy heads up the traditional cider brand at the family farm near Taunton, in Somerset. His passion, knowledge and expertise are behind every drop of Sheppy's cider.

Discussing the launch of the canned range, David Sheppy explains: "We are extremely excited about the launch of our cans. This is something we have wanted to do for a while and after our recent rebrand, we felt it was the perfect time. Cans are great as they offer a smaller serving size, are lighter than glass bottles, take up less shelf space - and leave less carbon footprint. Available in our classic cider and cloudy variant - VAT 14 and VAT 07 meet the demand for premium, great tasting, convenient cider."
